Our Chapter Flags
In addition to the U.S., Texas, and C.S.A. Flags, these flags have been incorporated by the chapter for their respective historical significance and their status as a Chapter of the SCD.
The Battle Flag of the Army of Trans-Mississippi

The Trans-Mississippi Army was a field army of the Confederate States Army in the Trans-Mississippi (any Confederate units operating to the western shores of the Mississippi River) Theater of the American Civil War. It was the last major Confederate command to surrender, submitting on May 26, 1865, exactly one month after General Johnston had surrendered in the eastern United States.
The Flag of the National Society of Confederate Descendants

The SDCV was designed by Chartering President-General Lery Joe Reynolds on April 14, 2025, when he began to organize and charter the general organization. Each chapter that is chartered is presented with this flag, along with the Chapter Charter. It is modeled after the Bonnie Blue flag with organization's name.
The SCD Gen. Ben McCollouch Chapter Flag

The "Tilted Star" became the State Flag of Texas in 1861 following secession. Many Texas Confederate units, including the famed "Hood's Texas Brigade," adopted it as their official regimental or brigade flag. The "Tilted Star" flag was prominently flown over the Alamo throughout the War Between the States. The Coat of Arms of General Ben McCollouch was incorporated with the organization and chapter name.
